About Hannah

My name is Hannah, and I am an Italian and English teacher. I am half Italian and half English, and grew up between Italy and Ireland. I am an Italian and English native speaker, and being bilingual in both allows me to bridge any communication gaps, making sure you feel comfortable and confident in your learning journey. With five years of teaching experience, I have taught students of all ages and proficiency levels. This has equipped me with the skills needed to tailor my lessons to meet the needs of each individual learner. My academic background in International Modern Languages in Italian, Spanish, and French at University College Dublin has enriched my teaching approach and has given me a broader perspective on language acquisition, allowing me to draw from a wide range of linguistic tools and methodologies. This knowledge enables me to provide a well-rounded and comprehensive language learning experience to my students.

I specialize in preparing students for important exams like the Leaving Certificate and Junior Certificate, as well as university-level exams. We will work on all aspects of the Italian language, including listening, speaking, reading, and writing. I also have experience with Italian translation. I will share effective strategies and exercises to help you improve your translating skills, whether you're working with English to Italian or vice versa.
