About Mel
I am a fresh graduate from Northeastern University. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, and over the last five years, I worked as a calculus and chemistry tutor. Students I work with show guaranteed results! As a fresh graduate myself, I know what students need and I try my best to make the subject interesting and fun! I teach middle/high school - both math and science, college - pre-calculus, calculus I, and general chemistry classes.
I am currently working in a Biotech company as a scientist. I enjoy teaching and love to see my students succeed as well as improve.

I started teaching math in my freshman year of college. I like to do practice problems when it comes to teaching math as I believe the method "practice makes perfect" works well for math. Many of my students succeed with this method of learning as well.
I enjoy working with students from different backgrounds and ages. I do my best to find the best teaching method for each individual and use real-life examples to make classes more interesting.
