About Freya

I am a Python tutor with 5+ years of experience helping students learn programming in a clear, engaging way. My background in computational science allows me to bring real-world context into every lesson. I especially enjoy working with beginners who want to use Python for school, data analysis, or creative projects. My teaching style is practical and structured. We code together, break down each function, and explore how Python can be used to solve everyday problems. Whether you’re learning loops, writing your first script, or building a project, I’ll support you at every step. I also include exercises that sharpen your logic and make you more confident tackling programming challenges. My lessons aim to help you understand—not memorize. Python can be a powerful skill once you get the basics right. Let's build those skills together.

About the lesson

Python is a powerful language, and I teach it with a method that’s clear and supportive. We begin with simple ideas—printing, variables, and loops—and build up from there. Each topic is introduced through examples and small exercises.

I focus on real understanding, not memorization. My explanations are simple, but deep enough to give lasting knowledge. We explore lists, dictionaries, functions, and how to organize code with modules.

Students receive feedback in every session so they always know what to focus on. I also teach debugging skills early, so they can learn to solve problems on their own. We build small programs and projects as confidence grows.

My teaching style works especially well for students interested in science and data. I help them apply Python to environmental monitoring, ocean data, and similar areas.

Each lesson includes review and new challenges. We build coding muscles slowly and steadily. My goal is always to help them feel confident and capable in Python.
