I have taught approximately 1200 students in my career, and tutored about 100.

I am an experienced science teacher who has taught and tutored middle school, high school, and adult students working on their high school equivalency TASC exam.
I hold a BS in Biology from CCNY and a Masters from Hunter College.
If we work together, I will endeavor to push you outside your comfort zone; engage you intellectually, and use graphic organizers and other techniques that will help you understand and remember the content we study, rather than trying to have you memorize abstract concepts, terms, and facts.
