About Mira
With a BM in Music Education (Orchestral Strings – Violin) and over 7 years of teaching experience, I specialize in ensemble performance and chamber music. I have successfully directed youth orchestras, string ensembles, and group violin classes. My focus is on building strong section leadership, ensemble dynamics, tuning, and team musicianship. I have collaborated with schools, community centers, and chamber groups to foster musical growth. Chamber music coaching allows students to develop communication, listening, and expressive skills. I emphasize collaborative playing and shared musical interpretation. Each rehearsal is structured to develop precision, tone, and cohesive sound. Ensemble participation teaches patience, adaptability, and teamwork. I love seeing students gain confidence while performing together. Music is most rewarding when it is shared, and I strive to cultivate that joy in every ensemble. Students leave each session not only as better musicians but as engaged collaborators.

The teaching approach centers on bowing technique and sound quality. Students learn to control tone, dynamics, and articulation. Bowing strokes like detaché, spiccato, and legato are practiced carefully. Bow arm exercises improve strength, flexibility, and control. Posture, hand position, and coordination are emphasized. Lessons are structured with exercises tailored to the student’s needs. Musical expression is incorporated with technical skill. Students gain confidence in tone production and bowing technique. Each lesson develops precision, consistency, and musicality. Focused practice supports smooth, expressive playing. Students learn to create beautiful, resonant violin sounds. The methodology encourages patience, exploration, and growth. Lessons are motivating and enjoyable.
