About Dennis
I have been working in industrial plants for 18 years, and I enjoy training new employees. I have developed safe work procedures and have administered training and progression programs.
I am a Third Class Power Engineer. I entered the occupation through BCIT, and studied specialized subjects in SAIT distance learning. I thoroughly understand the environment that technical and trades students try to learn their new occupations in.
Students and new workers in any of the industrial plant operations and maintenance occupations can benefit from my personal, informal approach to technical English.

I reduce strange, complicated terminology to its English roots. Students learn to identify the language patterns that explain technical terminology.
I have many years of experience training new power engineers in fast-paced industrial settings. Many do not have the English background to process all the new information quickly, so I developed a personal training strategy that incorporates language explanation with process equipment knowledge.
Graduates and current students in technical programs and new trades entrants can cut through the language obstacles and concentrate on learning their technical material.
