About Ana
I am a Brazilian living in Germany since 2019. Before coming here I attended the course "Sharing Yoga" for two years, which consisted of 160 hours and qualifies yoga teachers.
I have been teaching both private and group yoga classes for the last months, adapting and changing to suit each person and occasion.
Over the last 5 years that I have been practicing yoga I have experienced many different techniques, such as breathing exercises, meditation, and the use of props.

The Hatha Yoga practice that I teach focuses on alignment and permanence of the asana (posture).
Inspired by Iyengar's teaching I encourage the use of props to assist students within an asana without putting them at risk of injury.
Classes are structured in sequences. This enables a safe and structured progression of the poses, along with the 'opening' and balance of the physical and emotional body.
The poses are held for longer periods of time. When stability is achieved in a pose, it's then possible to safely intensify the depth of the posture. This helps to help develop strength and flexibility, along with sensitivity and awareness between the body and mind.
