About Tobenna

Hi, I’m Tobenna—a Network and Cybersecurity Professional with hands-on industry experience and a real passion for teaching. I currently work as a Microwave Antenna Engineer at Huawei Technologies, and I’ve built a solid foundation in networking over the years. But as technology keeps evolving, so did my journey—and that’s what led me deep into the world of cybersecurity.

I’m a CompTIA Security+ and PenTest+ certified professional, which means I’ve gone beyond theory and into real-world defensive and offensive security. From configuring network infrastructures to simulating attacks in penetration testing labs, I understand both sides of the digital battlefield.

I started teaching because I noticed a gap—between what’s taught in school and what’s needed in the real world. I’ve seen people struggle not because they lacked talent, but because they lacked guidance, clarity, and mentorship. So I decided to step in and bridge that gap.

Whether you're trying to understand how routers work or how attackers break into systems, I’m here to break it all down—step by step, in plain language, with hands-on projects that prepare you for real jobs and certifications.

I don’t promise magic tricks. I teach practical, up-to-date skills in networking and cybersecurity that you can actually apply. Together, we’ll build your confidence, sharpen your critical thinking, and get you career-ready—no fluff, just real knowledge.

About the lesson

My lessons are designed to do more than just teach theory—I focus on helping you understand, apply, and retain real-world skills in both networking and cybersecurity. Whether you're preparing for certifications, switching careers, or just getting started, my approach is built around clarity, hands-on practice, and real-world relevance.

My Teaching Methodology
I teach the way I wish I was taught—clear, structured, and practical. Here’s how I make sure every lesson delivers value:

Concept First, Application Always: Every topic starts with a simple explanation of the why and how, followed by real-world examples. We move from basic concepts to hands-on labs that show you how the theory works in action.

Interactive and Scenario-Based: Lessons are not just me talking. I include real-life scenarios, interactive Q&A, challenges, and walkthroughs. You’ll learn how to think like a network engineer and act like a penetration tester.

Guided Labs and Simulations: You’ll work with industry tools like Wireshark, Cisco Packet Tracer, Metasploit, Burp Suite, and Bettercap. I guide you step-by-step, but I also give you challenges to build your confidence and problem-solving skills.

Progressive Structure: Every lesson builds on the last. You’ll start with core networking concepts, then transition into cybersecurity topics like vulnerability scanning, exploitation, threat analysis, and system hardening.

Feedback and Support: I don’t just teach and disappear. You’ll get regular check-ins, support between sessions, and personalized guidance to help you overcome challenges and stay on track.
