About Silas

I am a passionate Chemistry tutor with 7 years of experience teaching students from school to college level. My goal is to make Chemistry both understandable and exciting, showing students how it connects to the world around them. Over the years, I have helped countless students improve their grades, build confidence, and develop a deeper appreciation for science. A key milestone in my career has been assisting students to achieve top marks in exams and pursue further studies in scientific fields. About the lesson

My teaching approach for Chemistry revolves around Real-life Examples, Case Studies, Communication, Flexibility, Integrity, and Creativity. I believe that Chemistry is not just about memorizing formulas, but understanding how it applies to our daily lives. By using real-life examples and case studies, I make abstract concepts more relatable and show students the practical side of Chemistry. This helps them see the subject’s relevance and fosters a deeper interest in learning.

Clear communication is at the core of my teaching. I ensure that each student fully understands the material before moving on, encouraging them to ask questions and express their ideas. I also prioritize flexibility, adapting my teaching methods to suit each student’s learning style and pace, ensuring they feel comfortable and confident. Integrity is fundamental in creating a trusting, supportive learning environment where students feel motivated to excel.
