About Stephen
I defended for my doctorate in 2012 and my post-doctoral fellowship in 2014. Since then, I have tutored privately, taught at colleges and universities and have patented my own inventions in chemical physics. I cut through the extraneous information often yacht in chemistry classes but rarely used in the professions where a thorough understanding of chemistry is needed.

I teach using the Socratic method. It’s vital for the students to make the connections between the concepts for themselves. I foster that process! I use humor, analogy and current events to communicate, but I also LISTEN to the students; they know what they want, but they sometimes have a tough time conveying that.
