My coaching style:
I try to teach chess in a fun approach so that students not only learn faster but also enjoy the process of learning. Because I feel that a student's enjoyment of the learning process is necessary. We can't learn anything if we aren't having fun. At the bottom, I'll give you a quick summary of how I teach beginners. So, take time to read it.
1.For Tactics Session:
I mostly focus on tactics using the CCT ( Checks, Captures, Threats) method for beginners. The problem is that we can find a lot of puzzles online, but it's difficult to stay focused on CCT. I encountered a lot of beginners who knew CCT but couldn't put it to use in the training sessions. As a result, I try to give a high priority to CCT so that students do not confuse the order of the concepts. Some students were able to apply CCT effectively in their games after only a few sessions.
2. For Middlegame Sessions:
Once the student starts recognising elementary tactical patterns, it's also important to teach middlegame principles, and for that, I like to choose "Classic Games". I believe it's best to start by introducing the student to "The Power of Classic Games". Classic Games are the foundation of every chess player's career. From Classic Games, we learn to play all kinds of positions and we learn a lot about the "History of Chess". Classics knowledge combined with tactics knowledge allows them to get to the intermediate level more rapidly, and that is the purpose of my training: to educate beginners how to progress to the intermediate level as quickly as possible and in the smallest amount of time.
3. Endgame Sessions:
I mainly focus on the following endgames:
1. All elementary Mates- Checkmate with Queen, Checkmate with 2 Bishops, Checkmate with Rook and Checkmate with Bishop and Knight. The first three are very important and last one is optional.
2. Basic King and Pawn Endgames winning and drawing positions.
3. Basic Knight Endgames.
4. Basic Bishop Endgames and fortresses.
5. Basic Rook Endgame positions like Lucena, Philidor and Vancura
Note: Homework will be given to students in all types of sessions, including middlegames, endgames, and tactics, and I will pay close attention to what concepts the students have grasped and which concepts are difficult for them.
