About Olivia
I am a recent graduate of UCONN, Storrs where I received my Bachelor's in English with a double minor in communications and environmental studies. I am currently obtaining my master's online at Pace University for childhood education. I have worked with kids many times in the past, and am seeking some part time work to get more experience in the education field whilst I am in my graduate program.

I am concentrating my education degree for grades 1-6, but have had experience with children from elementary through middle school. I have interned at a middle school in Ridgefield, CT, I have volunteered at multiple elementary schools during my time at UCONN for tutoring and service learning project purposes, and I worked as an assistant in an Italian pre-school for a semester in Florence, Italy. I also taught swim lessons ages infant-13 (including private lessons for all ages upon request) for 4 years at the Wilton, CT YMCA. I look forward to being able to work in a formal classroom setting, but have experience teaching a wide range of subjects/skills to a diverse age range. I love working with kids and believe the most important job for an educator is to establish a positive relationship with his/her students in order to encourage an engaging, exciting, and fun learning experience.
