I usually begin with familiarizing myself with what type of student I’m tutoring. Is he/she shy, willing to work, rushing to get a paper done, or genuinely interested in learning something new. Once that is understood, the best method would be to start off small, point out the little mistakes in their writing, which words would best be incorporated and which to be excluded. It levels up to full on sentences or paragraphs, but once we start somewhere, we zoom past towards a ‘perfect’ paper.
I’m a student at Hunter College in New York- freshman to be exact. I’ve been helping college students with their essays and research papers. Issues like grammar, mechanics, and needed syntax can be solved with my help. It’s not easy out there, but it’s good to be of service!
