My literacy lesson plan is designed to strengthen reading comprehension and writing structure through engaging stories, interactive discussions, and personalized essay prompts. Students learn how to organize their writing with clear introductions, strong thesis statements, well-supported body paragraphs, and thoughtful conclusions. I teach them how to outline their ideas, plan ahead with graphic organizers, and revise for clarity and impact.
To encourage creative thinking, I include writing prompts that ask students to imagine alternate story endings, write from different character perspectives, or connect themes to their own lives. These activities help students not only practice writing skills but also develop critical thinking and personal insight. By combining structure with creativity, I help students become confident, thoughtful writers who enjoy the writing process.
