About Tea
The Spanish language has always been a large area of interest for me. I have studied Spanish since 7th grade, and received a degree containing 37 credit hours among various topics of the Spanish Language and culture. In high-school I travelled abroad and used these skills in a first-hand experience in various regions of Spain. I received college credits beginning my junior-year of high-school from taking the CLEP Spanish test and then received a 4 on the AP Spanish Language exam my senior year which helped me receive more college credit. Alongside my minor in Spanish Language throughout undergrad I have a minor in secondary education. Therefore, I have learned and practiced many different methods of learning. I was asked to be a Teacher Assistant from a Spanish professor in my undergraduate studies, however I transferred schools and was unable to accept the position, but I did tutor many peers.

I have previously graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with minors in both Spanish Language and Secondary Education. The Spanish Language program at Pitt was very intensive in comparison to other Universities' requirements about foreign language credits. I took the AP and CLEP Spanish Exams in high-school where I earned college credits towards my program. I have previously tutored students within the same program.
Lessons may include:
- customized vocabulary sheets ( available for high-school or college-level)
- a collaborated power point with student
- Speaking practice for improvement for exams and proper pronunciation
- collaborations on school-provided homework and assignments
