When I give a math lesson, I would start with a review warm up to get introduced with the new task being learned or reviewed. I would spend most of the time focusing on the topic to be taught for the day. This would take about 30-45 minutes. This would be a worksheet or whiteboard work with hand on materials to help students grasp the concepts better.
