I am a Chemistry major at the University of Massachusetts. I've had tutoring experience both in high school, and as a volunteer in college. I prefer to teach by learning what the student already knows, work on misconceptions, and show efficient ways to solve the problem he/she is having. Student who struggle typically think it's their fault. But this method allows the student to be in control and build more confidence.
I am not a formal instructor. I'm a student willing to share my knowledge with the youth. But I've had students who improved at least one grade higher.
This fall, I will earn my Bachelors of Arts in Chemistry. I am also a native French speaker and have had internships in chemistry focused environmental science, which deal with climate change, and ecosystem conservation.
