About Stanley

I have been helping my sister and some of my family friends throughout the year and tutoring them in math not only has benefitted them but also has taught me a great deal because learning is a two-way street: just as the students learn from teachers, teachers learn from their students. In addition, I have helped students within my school through NHS tutoring. All of which, results vary, but in general it is an upward trend of at least a letter grade (as seen through my sister's and family friends' grades). I would gladly meet with students at a local public library as that seems to be the safest and efficient place to learn and study. About the lesson

My name is Stanley Huang, a recent graduate of Montgomery High School and currently attending Rutgers University SAS Honors Program and in the Business School. Throughout my time in high school, mathematics have been an area in education that has sparked my interests. I have finished up to the math level of Calculus II and have scored 5s on both the AP Calculus AB and AP Calculus BC test, as well as scoring a 790 on the Math II Subject tests. Additionally, I have also taken both Physics Honors and AP Physics B in high school and have scored a 5 on my AP Physics B exam. I am excited and eager to take my capabilities in mathematics in helping and aiding those that need a bit of a help in order to discover their innate talent and abilities in this subject. My lesson plans are a well structured and very straightforward, which brings upon the best results. First we will look at and go over a certain subject that might be causing trouble. However, my lessons are not fully just lecturing students and giving them the answer because in the end, discovering and finding the answer to problems through trial and error is what will leave the student with the greatest impact. There will also be an abundant amount of extra practice (as much as needed) in order to ensure that the student truly understands and has mastered the material.
