she makes learning fun and downs enjoyable. we talked a lot (in Japanese obviously) and i learned many new things, not only about the language but their culture as well!!!

I have worked with Shine in the past as a classmate and an eboard officer colleague. She has a drive to excel in whatever pursuit she chooses and truly strives for quality. She is able to communicate effectively and show up promptly.

I got to know Shine through the class at college. She is an ambitious person, passionate about what she's doing, and always willing to help anyone who needs help. I've seen her from the last semester when she first came to the U.S., and her adjusting to the new environment always surprised me since she got used to the new environment quickly: she's interested in meeting up new people and value all those connections.
She grew up in Japan, but her English proficiency is great, and in fact, she's involved in various organizations at college and has responsible for them. With those lots of experiences, she's good at communicating with new people and has open mindset to learn things. This leads her to have academic excellence as well. Time management is another strength of her since she's always strive for her improvement.
Last but not least, she is from Japan and has lots of knowledge about Japanese culture and proficient in Japanese. With these values, I believe that she could be a great tutor to learn from!
