About Iván

Hello everyone! My name is Iván and I'm a Colombian certified tutor with 7 years of teaching experience. I love languages! I speak Spanish, English, a bit of French and Japanese, and I'm just starting with Russian.

I've been working as a tutor since I entered university, covering various topics including languages like English or Japanese, and in the last four years, Spanish. I started by teaching English to children and other university students, and now I teach Spanish to foreigners. Most of my students have been young people who want to learn a new language and speak it fluently, as well as many medical students interested in communicating effectively with their patients, people who have moved to a Spanish-speaking country for different reasons, or those who require Spanish for work. There's nothing more motivating for me than seeing students who have come in with 0 Spanish and now we can speak in my language!

I've learned all the languages I speak on my own, and I assure you that you'll speak the language you want to learn in no time, as long as you dedicate yourself to learning.

I'll teach you how to turn your hobby, whatever it may be, into an excellent learning tool, such as video games. I know good YouTube channels, apps, and more to study the language you want to learn. I've been through the same thing you're going through right now, and I'll give you all my experience and knowledge. But if you want a traditional class or just to practice, don't worry, we can also do that. I won't teach you Spanish; I'll teach you how to learn Spanish according to your goals, regardless of your level.
