About Sage
I have been teaching piano for 4 years, and I also compose and perform music. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Theory and Composition with a Piano Emphasis. My approach combines technical training with creative exploration. I emphasize improvisation and spontaneous composition to inspire individuality. Beginners learn at a comfortable pace while exploring creativity early on. Advanced students refine their artistry and develop unique performance styles. I encourage students to view music as a lifelong companion. Lessons balance structure and imagination. We work on theory, technique, and expression side by side. My work as a performer shapes how I guide phrasing, timing, and emotion. My background as a composer helps me support originality and creative risk-taking. Piano lessons are about unlocking potential at every stage. Students leave with confidence, skills, and inspiration to keep creating.
