About Tessa

I’m a singing tutor with over 9 years of experience and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Vocal Arts and Opera. I’m passionate about helping singers gain confidence and overcome performance anxiety. I specialize in contemporary worship and gospel music but also teach Pop, Indie, and R&B. My lessons focus on breath control, expressive phrasing, and maintaining vocal health. I provide live performance coaching for congregational singing and recording sessions. I love working with shy beginners, teen worship leaders, and aspiring recording artists. Connecting emotionally with songs is a key part of my teaching. Singing is a spiritual expression that should feel authentic and freeing. I create a supportive, safe space for every student to grow. Together, we’ll build technique, stage presence, and confidence. Music should be joyful and empowering. Your voice is a gift—let’s discover it together.

About the lesson

I focus on guiding students to discover and enhance their unique vocal timbre. Breath support, vocal resonance, and projection are emphasized in every lesson. Tone shaping and vocal expression are key parts of my approach. Students also learn techniques for belting, head voice, and mixed voice. Lessons are designed for The Soloist in Training and The Adult Beginner. Healthy vocal technique is always a priority. Exercises are paired with songs to make learning practical and enjoyable. We also work on performance skills to build confidence and presence. Lessons are supportive, encouraging, and tailored to your needs. Together, we strengthen range, tone, and control. My goal is to unlock every student’s full vocal potential. Singing should feel empowering and joyful. You’ll leave each lesson feeling confident and inspired.
