About Eric
I am a head swim coach and have been for four years. I also have tutored for a combined 2 years in Iowa and Colorado. I have always been the person my friends go to when they need to succeed and thoroughly learn a new mathematical subject. I enjoy learning to the point I want to teach. My math research project and current Javascript projects allow me to have insight into both theoretical and applied math.

When I teach, I take a slow pace to make sure the basics are understood by everyone. I spend my attention equally between all students. Whether its a tip or trick to help understand the basics, or a higher level refinement to make the students' work more clear. I prefer to recieve the students' upcoming homework as soon as possible along with any immediate questions so that I can help most efficiently and begin each session with a direction. I love helping people truly understand and progress something new, not just write down an answer superficially; giving me better patience. I teach that mathematics is everywhere; and with a simple calculator, the limit is endless as to what you can do.
