About Taylor
I graduated from UNG with a B.A. in Communications and Public Relations in 2018. I was a member, leader, and coach of the Debate and Forensics Interpretation team for five years. I coach students to speak with confidence and fact in order to prepare them for public speaking in class, competitions, and ultimately, the real world. Since graduation, I have struggled with finding a "normal job" that meets my standards; unfortunately the 9-5 corporate schedule was not a good fit for me. So here I am, following my heart and gut, and will do my very best to provide some knowledge and insight to at least one person in order to make the world a better place to think, communicate, and be. I am incredibly interested in Philosophy and the ability to understand a variety of perspectives, and hold great value to ethics and logic. I am an approachable and patient aid to all students who put forth effort to understand what it is they would like or need to learn.

I spend a lot of time researching and perfecting my strategy for teaching a certain topic or strategy, because I believe teachers should have some sort of a grasp on what they're talking about. Once I am confident in my understanding, I create outlines and cheatsheets, provide as much information and explanation for better understanding, and do my very best to answer any questions students may have in order to provide the best learning experience possible. (If I am unable to answer your question, I will find something or someone that can!) First, we will start with an easy introduction. Next, I prefer an interactive style, such as a discussion approach depending on the subject; sometimes a lecture is required, however I never turn down a question. My goal is for each student to understand what we have covered; if this is not achieved, I will stay late, provide additional resources, and do anything I can to make sure you succeed. I am always open to suggestions for improvement in order to make the lesson more engaging, clear, and exciting.
