I use the question based approach where I try to guide students to the right idea rather than giving the answer or strictly teaching them. I find that the interactions where the student is more involved in the tutoring process is more beneficial in the long run. It helps the student learn to guide themselves in future problems when they may not have a teacher or tutor around for support
I am a student at CSUSM finishing up my bachelors of science in Mathematics. I have experience tutoring/lecturing to large groups in classrooms for subjects like business calculus, calculus, and mathematical ideas.
