About Michael

I have tutored since I was in year 12, and I continued doing so as I find seeing students come to understand a topic and develop an interest in it the most enjoyable part of tutoring. For my A-Levels I scored 4A*'s in Maths, Further Maths, Chemistry and Biology. I offer tuition for: GCSE Maths, Chemistry and Biology A Level Chemistry and Biology

About the lesson

Hello! My name is Michael Deng and I am currently studying medicine at the University of Sheffield, one of the top universities in the UK. When I tutor my students, I make their learning my top priority. This involves forming a strong relationship with your child and earning their trust. I make sure to tailor the way I explain concepts through the use of analogies and by simplifying complex terminology. I also understand that learning extends beyond the classroom and the need for healthy routines alongside my lessons, which is why I usually design revision plans around my students. Parents are a key figure in facilitating these teaching sessions, as they work tirelessly to balance their children's extracurricular needs with the pressures of exams and learning. In order to keep things frictionless in my tuition, I provide flexibility when booking lessons and quick responses to messages you send. I understand that life doesn't always go to plan and there are times when things have to be rearranged.
