About Katie
Having worked as a tutor in the past I know that every student is different but this allows me the opportunity to create custom lesson plans as well as learn what you want to work on as a student. Being a student in a rigorous high school environment earning marks in the top 10% of my class I know that working hard is school can pay off but you may need an extra push to get there. My favorite part of being a tutor is helping each scrubber grow throughout their sessions so in the end they can move on to bigger and better challenges.

Hi! I’m Katie. As a current high school senior I am well versed in all areas of English from essay writing to test prep. I have honed these skills as a working journalist as well as editing for two of the most prestigious high school newspapers in the country. I am a member of National Honors Society and achieved scores in the 99th percentile on the ACT. Having childcare experience I can adapt my sessions to any age and skill level.
