About D
I started teaching because I felt it gave me opportunity to put something good into the world. I taught in a public middle school environment for 16 years. I was well liked by my students, co-teachers, and administration. I left teaching for other musical pursuits and found that although there are many things that I don't miss about a public middle school setting, there are some things that I do miss. Mainly working with students that want to learn.

I can help students understanding of middle school math and language arts from grammar to writing to composing for essay prompts to developing understanding and providing evidence for themes.
Music training would be focused on music theory, ear training, and learning from contemporary music to develop essential skills to contribute to a band or worship team.
