About Ofer
Originally born in Israel, and raised in Potomac, Maryland, Ofer Cohen is a freelance bass trombonist in the Boston MA area. An accomplished and adaptable musician, he has performed with the New England Repertory Orchestra (MA), Altoona Symphony Orchestra (PA), Williamsport Symphony Orchestra (PA), and Nittany Valley Symphony (PA). Currently, Ofer is pursuing a Doctorate of Musical Arts at Boston University. Ofer holds a Performance Certificate at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, a Masters in Trombone Performance at the Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Music in Trombone Performance from the Pennsylvania State University.
Ofer Loves to teach music theory and trombone lessons.

Each student is different and needs specific topics covered. I cater towards the student to help them progress at their pace that feels comfortable. We will start with the basics of music theory and proceed into more advanced topics the more the student begins to understand. These lessons are for anyone who is interested in learning a little bit more in depth about music theory, including beginners and current college students.
