About Nathan

"Learning a new language can feel hard, but I believe it becomes easier when we focus on natural communication. I’ve taught French to school and college students, and I’ve learned that everyone can succeed if they feel supported. My method is simple: speak, listen, practice, and repeat. I help students feel comfortable using French in real situations. Whether it’s greeting someone, asking for directions, or describing your day, I make sure students can use the language in real life. One student I worked with was shy and didn’t want to speak. So we used simple conversations, role-playing, and fun games to build confidence. After a few weeks, she was speaking with a smile and even helping classmates. My lessons also include grammar, reading, and writing—but in ways that are easy to understand. I use clear examples and lots of practice. I also help with exam preparation, homework, and assignments if needed. My goal is to make students feel like French is not a subject to pass—but a skill to enjoy. I teach with patience, care, and a lot of encouragement. With time, practice, and the right support, anyone can become a confident French speaker."

I always give honest feedback and set clear learning goals. I explain not just what to learn, but why it matters. I help students see their progress and celebrate small wins. I’ve also supported students in related subjects, such as French writing, conversation practice, comprehension, and exam preparation. My approach is always student-centered—because when students feel seen and supported, they thrive."
