About José Luis
During high school, I started tutoring my friends in topics such as Geometry and Trigonometry, though later on, I started to offer tutoring for more and helped others land A's in Pre-Calculus and Calculus. There were some undergraduate students that needed help for Calculus too, as well as Linear Algebra, and after tutoring them they were able to land good grades (B or more).

First, I quickly assess the student through a small quiz, so I can understand how they tend to make mistakes and what they understand. Then, I start from the foundations if needed, by creating proofs and exercises that make you think instead of making you repeat a formula several times. Thus, even if at first it feels slower, over time it is a faster, more thorough method.
When a deadline is very close, the method changes to cover as many topics as possible in such a short time.
