About Drake

My singing lessons offer a welcoming space where you can explore your voice, take risks, and grow — all at your own pace. Whether you're a total beginner or someone with vocal experience, I create lessons that are thoughtful, relaxed, and completely customized to you. We’ll cover technique — breath support, pitch accuracy, tone shaping, range building — and apply those skills to the music you love. If you're not sure what genre or songs to try, I’ll help you discover what lights you up. Lessons are interactive and fun — we’ll use vocal games, imagery, storytelling, and gentle improvisation to keep learning engaging and expressive. I place a big focus on emotional connection — singing is more than just notes, it’s communication. You’ll learn how to bring feeling and meaning into your performances, even if you're singing just for yourself. If you’re shy, we’ll create space for trust and gradual exploration. If you’re more goal-driven, I’ll support you in pushing forward with structure and feedback. You’ll also leave each lesson with personalized practice ideas that are manageable and motivating. From basic musicianship to performance coaching to harmony work, I can help you develop a deeper understanding of your voice and your music. Most importantly, I want you to feel heard — both musically and personally — every time you sing.

About the lesson

I believe that every student has a unique vocal compass—an inner guide that points to their most expressive, confident voice. My role is to help each singer align with it through a teaching methodology built on Communication, Creativity, Cultural Sensitivity, and Accountability.

In our lessons, Communication is the first step to discovery. I actively engage students in conversation about their aspirations, fears, and artistic identity. This ongoing dialogue builds trust and makes it easier to shape lessons that truly resonate with each singer.

Creativity makes learning dynamic and inspiring. I integrate imaginative tools such as visualization techniques, storytelling through tone, and emotional improvisation. These help singers not just sound great, but feel connected to their voice and message.

Cultural Sensitivity adds purpose to performance. We don’t just sing songs—we explore their origin, linguistic details, and social context. This encourages thoughtful, heartfelt delivery and fosters a deeper respect for musical diversity. I also adapt material that reflects the student’s own culture, making them feel included and empowered.

Accountability ensures consistent growth. Together, we set weekly intentions, assess progress, and track achievements—whether small victories or major breakthroughs. I provide clear, encouraging feedback, along with personalized exercises that build discipline while keeping learning fun.

In addition to singing, I support development in ear training, genre exploration, lyric writing, and stage presence. My goal is to help students not only become skilled vocalists, but expressive artists who can navigate their vocal journey with direction and confidence.
