About Yara
With over 7 years of teaching experience and a Graduate Diploma in Violin Pedagogy, I offer lessons that integrate theory and practice. I emphasize music theory, aural skills, and sight reading alongside violin technique. My lessons support music theory exam preparation and advanced harmony understanding. Scales, intervals, and harmony are taught through structured bowing and fingering exercises. I work with exam candidates and students seeking to enhance overall musical fluency. Lessons combine technical mastery, theoretical insight, and expressive playing. Sight reading and ear training are emphasized for musical independence. Phrasing, articulation, and dynamics are key components of my approach. Each lesson is tailored to the student’s level and goals. I aim to create a strong link between theory and performance. Students gain confidence, knowledge, and technical skill. My goal is to nurture well-rounded violinists. Together, we build both skill and musical understanding.

I help students develop precise intonation and a sensitive ear for pitch. Drone practice and focused exercises build accuracy across all positions. Lessons are tailored for aspiring pop stars and classical vocalists. Finger placement, bowing, and phrasing are combined with pitch-focused exercises. Students learn listening skills and self-correction techniques. Scales, arpeggios, and melodic exercises support accurate intonation. I also work on tone quality, dynamics, and musical expression.
