About Julia
I was an English and Classics co-major at Emory University. I've been tutoring pre-kindergarten students through college-age students for 5 years now. I've specifically tutored reading, literature, foreign language (Latin), and ACT/SAT prep. I've taught groups of 3 children at a time, but I'm open to larger groups, as well.

I aim to teach in a way that encourages open communication and a deep understanding of materials. There are no stupid questions! I take my time to find explanations that work for my students. If that means I have to explain something 4 times, in 4 different ways, then that's what I do. I want all my students to feel comfortable asking questions and to leave our lessons feeling encouraged and confident in their abilities.
