About Hattie
I have been tutoring economics for more than 4 years, with a BSc in Economics. My focus is on helping middle school students understand the basics of the subject. Lessons introduce supply and demand, money, trade, and resource choices. I keep learning interactive with activities like budgeting games and role-play markets. These exercises make abstract concepts simple and fun. I also use stories to explain how societies grow and how trade has shaped history. This keeps learning engaging and memorable. My approach is nurturing, encouraging curiosity at every stage. Students feel supported and confident to ask questions. I encourage them to think critically and connect concepts to real life. Every class is a mix of structure and exploration. Economics becomes both useful and exciting. Together, we discover how everyday choices connect to the larger economy.
