I have a master's degree in mathematics and work as a math educator. I make math interesting and approachable by using a student-centered approach. My teaching combines conventional methods with cutting-edge approaches, placing a strong emphasis on interactive problem-solving, real-world applications, and visual aids like digital tools and diagrams. For easier comprehension, difficult subjects like algebra, geometry, trigonometry, statistics, computations, and mathematical analysis are divided into digestible pieces.
Methods and Strategies for Teaching
I adapt my courses to each student's speed and preferred manner of learning, making complex ideas relevant using innovative techniques like puzzles and real-world analogies.
A Typical Lesson Plan
1) Warm-up (5–10 minutes): Mental math activities or a brief refresher.
2) 15–20 minutes of interactive conversation with examples during the concept introduction.
3) 20–25 minutes of guided practice: Work through issues as a group, making sure they are clear.
4) For fifteen minutes of individual practice, the student works on their own with assistance as required.
5) Summarize the main ideas, respond to inquiries, and give practice throughout the five to ten minute wrap-up.
What Sets Me Apart
I provide a safe, motivating atmosphere where kids may grow in self-assurance and critical thinking abilities.
Who the Lessons Are For
For students in elementary school through high school who require assistance in arithmetic, as well as college or university students studying more complex subjects like statistics and mathematical analysis, I provide classes. I'm committed to fostering a strong love of math and helping every student reach their greatest potential.
