About Gil
I've always enjoyed numbers, logic and problem solving. I obtained my electrical engineering bachelor's degree in Brazil, receiving the academic award "Best student of the 2010 graduates". Later, I spent many years working in my family's business where, again, numbers were part of my everyday routine where I had to analyze sales results, merchandise costs, calculate prices and discounts, prepare special promotions, etc. Finally, I decided to change careers into IT, where I pursued a technical diploma in computer programming and currently work in a software company as a QA automation engineer. After spending many hours helping my own children with their math homework, I thought that I could share my skills to help other students to overcome their fear of numbers, equations and graphs.

During our lessons I will support you with your homework, preparation for tests and exams, or even with topics you would just like a better understanding.
My lessons are customized to match your needs, so usually I ask the students to tell me the topic they need help with before the class, so that I can prepare relevant material and exercises.
I use a drawing pad to be able to share my writing and drawing more easily.
My focus is to support elementary and high school students to overcome any challenges they may have with math, gain confidence to resolve problems and hopefully come to enjoy this subject which is so important in our lives.
