About Vivienne
I hold a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and have over a decade of experience teaching and mentoring future engineers. My teaching philosophy balances technical depth with real-world practicality, ensuring learners can apply knowledge confidently beyond the classroom. I approach every session with curiosity and patience, breaking down complex principles into ideas that flow naturally. My lessons combine circuit analysis, modern simulation tools, and project-based learning to help students develop hands-on understanding. Having worked with students across diverse backgrounds, I know that inspiration drives learning. I encourage creativity and exploration — reminding learners that engineering is not only analytical but also deeply imaginative. For me, teaching electrical engineering means empowering students to think like innovators. I aim to build confidence, precision, and purpose in every learner — helping them see technology not just as a field of study, but as a way to shape a better future.

Electrical Engineering is more than circuits and formulae — it’s the study of how energy moves, transforms, and empowers everything we use. My lessons begin with the fundamentals of current, voltage, and resistance, before expanding into the principles of design and system analysis. Students learn to think like engineers — logical, precise, and innovative. I use real-world examples to bridge theory with application. Whether explaining how transformers reduce losses or how semiconductors drive computation, I ensure learners understand how engineering connects science and society. Practical exercises and simulations accompany every topic to turn concepts into experience. Each lesson focuses on problem-solving and visualisation. Learners analyse circuit diagrams, interpret signals, and work through control system behaviour to strengthen both intuition and accuracy. This approach develops technical fluency and professional readiness. We also explore modern advancements like renewable energy systems, automation, and embedded technologies. By connecting traditional theory to modern innovation, students gain a complete, future-focused understanding of electrical systems.
