My name is Alex, and I'm a 27-year-old from England!
I love travelling and have lived in 3 different countries in the past 10 years. I'm currently based in Japan, but I am flexible with my time, so I can cater to any time zone.
I'm fascinated by different cultures and countries, and I believe people from all walks of life deserve the same level of respect.
I'm passionate about helping others learn what has become a global language, and I look forward to helping you start or continue your journey.

A needs analysis will be conducted to determine your level of English, and your goals for learning English (Business, School, Travel, Hobby).
Typical lesson example:
Explain (Teacher presents)
Introducing the topic of the lesson - whether it's vocabulary or grammar. Here I would cover the meaning, pronunciation and form of the target language.
Elaborate (We do it together)
Here we would do an activity together, whether it's a game or a reading exercise. I'll encourage and elicit independent speech, and assist you where needed.
Evaluate (Student does alone)
This is where we would consolidate what has been learnt throughout the lesson. You'll have a chance to practice and present the target language in different contexts and scenarios. I'll be there to offer prompts and assistance.
As a tutor, you'll be learning from a native English speaker with a clear and neutral British accent. I'm patient and enthusiastic about helping and teaching others.
