I work with middle school and high school students in just about any mathematics or science course. Typically, my sessions are private lessons, but I have taught shared sessions in the past. My sessions typically involve a review of concepts followed by lots of example problems. I believe that actually running through practice problems is the best way to grasp the concepts and prepare for free-response exams.
Hi! I am a recent graduate from the University of Texas at Austin where I majored in Mechanical Engineering and minored in Business Foundations. Aside from my engineering experience, in the past I have worked as an academic tutor for 2 years, where I privately worked with students attending competitive Middle and High Schools in Austin, Texas. The subjects I have tutored most heavily include Physics (Regular, Pre-AP, and AP), Geometry, Algebra 1/2, and Chemistry. I have also tutored in Pre-Calculus and Middle School mathematics. I have had over 5 years of high level calculus practice, so I am very capable of explaining these concepts as well!
If you need to cancel or reschedule the session, I ask that you please do so within 8 hours in advance. Thank you.
