About Lindsay
I am an English Major who graduated in 2011 from UCCS in Colorado Springs, CO. I enjoy teaching subjects from math to science, English, and beyond. I have tutored Japanese, photography, and many other subjects. I like to help students understand subjects they may not originally care much about and learn to enjoy and succeed at those subjects.

I customize lessons to each student's interests and learning needs. A typical lesson would involve us discussing what is confusing, finding solutions that work to help the student remember steps in solving a difficult problem, or visuals that help spark understanding. I always want students to walk away with at least one "ah-ha" moment. I especially love teaching pre-algebra, algebra 1 and algebra 2, college algebra, statistics and biostatistics.
