Sylvia was a great help for my daughter. She spent time researching methods that would really help her and from being reluctant to read anything, she is now eagerly reading books for her age group. More importantly, she has developed self-esteem through Sylvia's encouragement and "yes-you-can" attitude.

Sylvia takes her pupils as individuals. She considers their individual needs and is prepared to research for ages in order to best meet their needs. My daughter (year 5) is dyslexic and was very frustrated. She started with Sylvia 8 months ago and is now doing comprehension work with passages from Dickens and Heaney!
