I have studied numerous languages and in a variety of formats. The biggest obstacle to learning is fear and anxiety, especially so with languages like English. Learning environments should be relaxed, fun and also structured to achieve concrete goals. Open ended study can feel overwhelming so it is helpful to break it down into small steps. Materials will be chosen based on your own interests and goals.

English learning should be fun, interactive and practical. I personally learn the most through roleplaying realistic conversations or reading/watching interesting short stories, films, or texts. Although drilling and memorization plays a role too. I have studied foreign languages my entire life and have taught in one form or another at all age and ability levels. We will develop a plan and proceed at a pace you feel comfortable with.
