About Joel
With nine years of experience teaching violin, I am dedicated to helping students explore and excel in their musical journey. My passion for the violin began early, and through years of performance and education, I’ve developed a deep understanding of both the instrument and effective teaching methods. I've had the pleasure of guiding students from their first lessons to advanced stages, each with their unique goals and challenges.
My teaching approach centers on a balance of technical skill development and expressive artistry. I emphasize the importance of mastering fundamental techniques, such as bowing and finger placement, while also encouraging students to express their individual musicality. This dual focus helps students build a solid technical foundation while also developing their personal voice as musicians.
