About Jessica
I have helped student actors in a broadway (concealed information) winning show to connect to each other and their characters. My directing has opened up less than cperienced actors to deeper levels of understanding, and trusting their impulses. Students and actors under me have praised my abilities to achieve growth in their craft.

I give lessons to any age group over 10 years old. My degree is a 4 year bachelors of the arts in theatre studies. I work in many methods, but particularly follow Richard Seid, viewpoints, Stanislavsky, and method (not to the extreme, basic principals). I am always learning new techniques, so my lessons will not become stagnant and myself and my students will grow. Trust and a judgement free zone are extremely important for acting, as well as directing. The health, mental and physical, of my actors and students is of number one importance. I push my actors to go beyond their comfort range, but in a safe and caring environment- never out of fear or intimidation. We, as theatre artists, must be open to connection and connection is only achieved trust. The best acting comes from a state of relaxation.
