About Kayla

With over 6 years of experience teaching economics, I have developed a style that is rooted in dialogue and real-world engagement. My classes are built on conversation, debate, and inquiry, rather than rote memorization. I believe the best way to learn economics is to apply it to current events, policy issues, and global challenges. Students learn to see patterns, recognize trade-offs, and understand cause and effect in complex systems. I place strong emphasis on respectful communication, where learners practice framing arguments and listening carefully to diverse perspectives. By exploring ethical dilemmas, such as inequality or climate economics, we push beyond surface-level answers into deeper understanding.
