About Dana

I have been doing all sorts of music for over 10 years now, playing the flute and choral singing, to playing the bass guitar. Music is an integral part of my day-to-day life and it brings me joy to be able to give someone else the same opportunity for them to love it as much as I do. I have now done all 8 grades on the flute and am working on my diploma. I've taught a myriad of students who have gone on to join national orchestras and achieve around grade 6 level when they started with me as a beginner.

About the lesson

My lessons are fun and enjoyable, each adapted and suited to each student depending on their age and current level. I work by having a notebook for each student. In our first session, I will see where they are at, and discuss with them what they want to achieve out of their lessons - whether that be exams or just learning for fun. We will then decide on three set targets per term, that we will continue to work on every week until we achieve them!

Dana had tutored my daughter, she was an excellent tutor, confident and very helpful. She is very patient, she focus on the things my daughter had trip up on! Very positive and very keen on making sure that you get a distinction in all of your grades.
