I am an experienced educator with over fifteen years of experience in the higher-education classroom and in the private tutoring space. I am deeply committed to creating exciting and equitable spaces for students of all kinds to develop French language skills, learn about the diverse cultures of the French speaking world, and develop cultural literacies.

I offer private lessons for independent learners and students enrolled in French classes seeking extra support. I tailor teaching methods to individual students' goals and learning styles, i.e. providing immersion lessons with a focus on immediate communication, or detailed grammar explanations and test-taking strategies for graduate students required to demonstrate reading/translation proficiency for research purposes. As a non-native French speaker with near-native fluency, I bring to my teaching the experience of having learned French as a second language, and am able to identify and address learning challenges. I am also experienced in designing courses for students with very particular professional goals (LSP, "language for specific purposes"), i.e. conservatory musicians, business students, etc. I offer lessons for learners of all ages and skill levels.
