About Ivy

I am a passionate guitarist with a master’s degree and 7 years of teaching experience, dedicated to helping students achieve technical skill and musical expression. My approach blends structured practice with creative exploration, making lessons both effective and engaging. With experience across classical, acoustic, and contemporary styles, I focus on developing fingerstyle, chord knowledge, and improvisational ability. I provide personalized guidance, interactive exercises, and performance-oriented training, helping learners gain confidence, versatility, and artistic expression in their playing. Teaching is both mentorship and inspiration. I strive to create a supportive, motivating environment where students feel encouraged to experiment, practice, and perform. Watching learners progress, develop confidence, and enjoy music is the most rewarding part of my work as a guitar tutor.

About the lesson
