Like many people, I learn best from working with others. I focus on cultivating relationships with all of my students so that we respect each other as we strive to accomplish our goals. I graduated from Bucknell University (B.A. in History) and then the University of Pennsylvania (M.S.S.Ed.) before deciding to become a teacher. I have never questioned that decision as I find that teaching people is among the most rewarding of pursuits.
During the past twenty years or so, I have taught countless students in a variety of settings. What I enjoy most are the one-on-one interactions that tutoring provides. I have helped students prepare for exams and standardized tests, complete major research projects, prioritize time management, and bolster study skills like note-taking, organization, and reading comprehension.
